It is time for a Magento 2017 review, but first I wish you a successful year 2018. The year passed and it was very exciting. Lots of interesting Magento 1 and Magento 2 projects, lots of things learned and a really successful blog. It is time to thank you – without readers, this would not be possible…
Magento 2017 review
2017 was an exciting year for Magento and especially Magento 2. There are many new Magento 2 shops out there, 2017 was the first year it was a good idea to built a new shop based on this new version. With Magento 2.2, the system is now stable, performant and safe. There were only few security patches needed and no negative press about it. All in all you can say Magento 2 finally reached a business level, yet even better than some commercial products.
Future
It is also time to reflect. Most of my useful articles were written this year. It was very interesting to research some new topics and write about it. I hope it is possible to do the same in 2018 and create even more and better posts. I also hope that I can reach a greater audience and get nice comments. This blog needs you as user, so if more users use this blog for research and problem solving then there is more time to do this.
